What does it take to be a successful leader in a high-performing organisation? Richard Reid, accredited with the highly-acclaimed Marshall Goldsmith coaching, can help you find out.
Dr. Marshall Goldsmith is the global authority in helping successful leaders achieve positive, lasting change in behaviour: for themselves, their people and their teams.
His hugely successful stakeholder-centred approach to coaching is a proven process that has been endorsed by top Fortune 500 leaders and more than 11,000 leaders worldwide. 95% of those leaders measurably improved their leadership effectiveness following their coaching. It’s suitable for anyone at, or aspiring to reach, senior leadership level in their organisation.
The Marshall Goldsmith approach to leadership is about having the courage to get out of your comfort zone and make yourself open to new ways of thinking. It’s about having the humility to appreciate that, in order to grow, you need to involve feedback from others and accept your own imperfections. Finally, it’s about having the discipline to implement the changes needed to your behaviours, habits, and processes so that change can happen.
You’ll set your leadership journey, and talk about the kind of leader you aspire to be. In turn your coach will share with you what he or she expects of you during the process. We’ll also start planning who to approach for 360 feedback from your peers.
You’ll receive the feedback from your peers and discuss your strengths and weaknesses, as identified by others, with your coach. Your coach will then work with you to identify areas for growth, and how that translates into tangible business benefits.
Together we’ll create your Leadership Development Journey and identify and approach stakeholders who will be giving you input and ideas on how to improve in the areas you’ve identified.
An ongoing process that uses future-focused feedback from your stakeholders to create a continuous improvement cycle for you to measure your progress against, alongside coached skills. We’ll also create metrics that can measure your improvement and growth as a leader.
Richard can also work with teams within your organisation. He can help answer questions such as: What does it take to be a high-performing team? What does leadership look like in an ambitious team where potentially everyone is a leader?
What does stakeholder-centred team effectiveness look like? Your team will create its own leadership model and accountable business case for change that will deliver measurable benefits to yourselves and the business.
Each member of your team will set their own leadership journey, and talk about the kind of leader they aspire to be. In turn your coach will share with you what he or she expects of you during the process. We’ll also look at the types of behaviour you will display – and expect – from your team.
You’ll discuss your strengths and weaknesses, as identified by others, with your leadership coach. Your coach will then work with you to identify potential areas for growth to accelerate your leadership journey, and how that translates into tangible business benefits.
We’ll help you conduct a team effectiveness review that will help you look at how you currently work together and how you need to work together in the future. Together you’ll define growth areas for your team, agree a business case for change and peers who will give you growth-centric ‘feedforward’.
An ongoing process that uses future-focused feedback from your stakeholders to create a continuous improvement cycle for you to measure your progress against, alongside coached skills. We’ll also create metrics that can measure your improvement and growth as a leader and as a team.
